Welcome to the
website of the Latin Mass Community North. In accordance with Pope Benedict XVI's
Motu Proprio,
“Summorum Pontificum,”
our purpose is to encourage the celebration of the Traditional
Latin Mass in the area north of Boston, Massachusetts and to inform those who wish to experience this “Extraordinary
Form” of the places and times where
it is celebrated.
We are firmly committed to the Roman Catholic Church
and the authority of the Pope and the bishops united with the Supreme Pontiff
of the Church.
We are
in the process of arranging Masses in the North Shore and the
Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts and we ask that
you visit this website periodically to keep informed.

However, as a practical matter, all Masses in Methuen are subject to last-minute cancellation. We strongly encourage interested persons to contact the parish office at 978-683-1193 on the day of each Mass (or the weekday before) to find out the status.
Because of frequent last-minute announcements and cancellations, we are not able to provide regular status updates about Masses in Methuen via this web site. A volunteer has undertaken to attempt to post status information through our Yahoo! group.
