Congratulations to Bishop-elect Uglietto!
Latin Mass Community North extends our warmest congratulations and encourages fervent prayers for the new North Regional Vicar, Bishop-elect Peter J. Uglietto, as he prepares for ordination to the Sacred College of Bishops on September 14, 2010, the Feast of the Holy Cross and patronal feast of the Metropolitan Cathedral. The Latin Masses at St. Adelaide on July 3rd and 4th were offered for the intentions of Bishop-elect Uglietto. Ad multos annos!
Farewell to Fr. Marino!
Suspension of Saturday Masses in Lynn
Over 150 people turned out on a Tuesday night at St. Adelaide Church in Peabody to assist at Solemn High Mass for the Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul and to wish Fr. Daniel Marino-Barragan well as he returns to his native Spain after serving as parochial vicar of St. Joseph Parish in Lynn. Fr. Marino offered the Mass on the 13th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood, and the 2nd anniversary of the return of the Latin Mass to the North Shore.
The Saturday AM Low Mass that had been offered by Fr. Marino at St. Joseph unfortunately must be suspended, effective now, due to lack of clergy available to offer it at that time. We ask for your prayers for the pastor and community of St. Joseph Parish.
